Wroclaw occupies the high 6th place in the global list of cities of emerging markets and the 9th place in the classification of all cities with best investment-attracting strategies. The capital of Lower Silesia also ranks third among big cities in terms of business-friendliness. It is even the leader in the last category, but in the global list of rising cities, and it occupies the 5th place according to human capital and the 10th place according to accessibility.
In the Global Cities of Future 2014/2015 ranking, the first place is occupied by Singapore, and London and Hong Kong ranked second and third, respectively. Warsaw occupies the 23rd place. In the ranking of cities of future, 130 metropolises were evaluated. The criteria taken into account included, among others, the ease of starting business, tax rates, the share of persons with higher education among employed people, the proximity of the airport and the presence of global financial markets.
