Waste Segregation in Wroclaw
The analysis showed that mixed waste accounts for about 60% of all waste, but the average black bag contains as much as 68% of waste that should not be there. This is over 30% of bio-waste, about 15% each of paper and plastic waste, and 8.5% of glass. These 68% of unsorted waste is a poor result. Unfortunately, there is no future without segregation and we cannot really count on someone doing it for us, at least not cheaply. Especially since recently there are financial penalties for not sorting. So how do we sort effectively and painlessly? In our latest campaign, we will be looking for solutions to meet the waste reality.
Sortowniś - an interactive educational game Sortowniś is an interactive educational game.
The user sees various types of waste that they must place in the appropriate containers. The game develops environmental awareness, helping to understand which bins to throw not-so-obvious waste items into, such as: a light bulb, a broken cup, flowers from a vase, or a CD. The player earns points for correct decisions and learns how to care for the environment in the real world.
The Future of Waste Segregation
To avoid constant complaining - we have to admit that we are making progress. Lots of people go shopping with their own bags, in schools children automatically throw plastic bottles into the yellow bin and paper into the blue one. The zero waste movement is also thriving.
