The only exception is the preschool and school on Marszowicka Street. The facility, run by an external organisation, was closed today (i.e. 17.09).
- Ultimately, it is the directors, in agreement with the managing authority, who makedecisions on the potential suspension of classes – after receiving the approvalt of themanaging authority (i.e. the city).
- In case of low teacher attendance, classes at the facilities may be combined. Directorshave also been asked to provide care and educational activities for children in theevent of any suspension of classes. This is because some parents may be working withinstitutions and services responsible for securing the city.
- The Department of Education remains in close contact with Wrocław's educationalfacilities.
Currently, there are THREE SAND BAGS DISTIBUTION POINTS open at the followinglocations:
- ZDiUM (Road and City Maintenance Administration) at Długa Street
- Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw Stadium (located past entrance B on the right-hand side)
- Czasoprzestrzeń on Tramwajowa Street
- The largest supplies of sand and bags are available at Czasoprzestrzeń. At the other points,Tarczyński Arena Wrocław and ZDiUM on Długa Street, two truckloads of sand aredistributed out within half an hour... We are continuously resupplying.
- These are locations where sand and bags are distributed exclusively for individual use.
- Everyone can take up to 20 bags to protect their homes or buildings.
- Professional services are responsible for the city's protection – if anyone wants to help, we encourage you to register at the Wrocław Social Development Centre.
