The theme of this year’s 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon is ‘Run for more’. It is intended to symbolise not only the participants’ sporting ambitions, but also the growth of the event itself, which goes beyond sport alone – it is an opportunity to explore the city at night, meet other runners and celebrate a shared passion together.

Music start of the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon
Before thousands of runners set off on the route of the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon, the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław will be filled with music and live concert energy.
This year’s event will be accompanied by a spectacular musical opening, to which all residents and visitors are invited.
Just before the start of the half marathon, at 5:30 p.m. at Tarczyński Arena Wrocław, there will be a special concert to get the audience in the mood for the sporting and musical festivities of the evening. The line-up will feature well-known artists, including DJ Otek, Ladies of Power and Sara James. The star of the evening will be Agnieszka Chylińska, one of the most charismatic and recognisable artists on the Polish music scene.
The concert is completely free. All you need to do is pick up a free ticket to take part in this special event and soak up the atmosphere of the upcoming half marathon. This is the perfect opportunity to spend a June evening in a unique atmosphere that combines sport, music and the excitement of thousands of participants.

Medal of the Night Half Marathon
The medal that will be hung around the runners’ necks after they cross the finish line of the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon traditionally features the much-loved motif of a glowing moon.
It features, among other things, silhouettes of runners, the flag of Wroclaw, the moon watching over the night-time route, horizontal stripes symbolising the Oder, the urban fabric of beautiful Wroclaw, and the symbolic date of this special event.

This year’s route will take runners through the sections they came across in previous editions – the most beautiful parts of Wroclaw – but there are also many new ones.
During the race, there will be an opportunity to admire, among others:
- the Contemporary Museum,
- the Train to Heaven at Plac Strzegomski,
- the Fountain at Plac Jana Pawła II,
- the atmospheric Old Town – Ruska Street,
- Kazimierza Wielkiego Street,
- Przejście Świdnickie passage,
- the Polish Post,
- Plac Społeczny [Community Square],
- the Grunwaldzki Bridge,
- the Mill Bridge with views of Ostrów Tumski,
- The Piaskowy [Sand] Bridge, from which you can see the sculpture of Nawa on Daliowa Island,
- the area around the University of Wroclaw and the University Bridges, featuring illuminated decorations.

On the route of the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon, runners will have access to four water stations, refreshment points, water curtains, toilets, etc.
The course is certified by AIMS, WA and PZLA, which means that participation in the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon will be the perfect opportunity to beat your personal bests.
Activities for the whole family – Family Run
For years now, one of the highlights of the Night Wroclaw Half Marathon has been the Family Run, so it is a must-see again this year!
The race will take place on 6 June 2026 at 4 p.m., a few hours before the start of the half marathon. Participants will cover a route of around 1 km, marked out within the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław complex and the surrounding area.
The start point will be located in the green areas marked on the race map, and the finish line will be on Śląska Avenue, i.e. at the same venue where the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon will begin at 10 p.m., making this event a unique opportunity to experience the excitement and atmosphere of a real half marathon.
Great fun for the whole family – the running village!
On Saturday, 6 June 2026, from 12 p.m. till 8 p.m., children, runners, supporters and all visitors will enjoy a host of attractions on the esplanade of the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław Stadium (on the side of Królewiecka Street), including:
- music straight from the Eska Bus Party,
- animations,
- sports activities for all age groups,
- prize competitions,
- photo walls,
- educational attractions,
- free tap water from MPWiK for those who are thirsty,
- a pro-health area for those willing to look after their health,
- a food truck area with snacks and an outdoor seating area.
You will also meet the event’s partners in the village, including Tarczyński S.A., Kuchnia Vikinga, drWitt, Decathlon, Mini Melts, Lubella, Fitness Academy, Wawel Truck, Day Mag and Toyota.
Pro-health area in the running village
It is the place to look after your health, learn more about prevention and undergo free health checks – things we often do not have time for in our everyday life.
It includes:
- Mobile Health Centre – screening for moles, skin tags and discolouration – melanoma prevention,
- Thyroid and venous system (Doppler) ultrasounds – rapid diagnosis and specialist consultations,

Are you running in the night-time half-marathon? Communication is free!
On the day of the half-marathon, choose public transport for a comfortable, safe and stress-free journey. Runners taking part in the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon are entitled to free travel by local and regional public transport. All you need is your race number.
Under the agreement between the City of Wroclaw and the rail operators, participants in the 12th Tarczyński Night Wroclaw Half Marathon can also travel free of charge on trains operated by Koleje Dolnośląskie S.A. and POLREGIO S.A. upon presentation of their race number on the day of the event – 6 June 2026 – and after the race.
Free travel will be available at all railway stations within Wroclaw and at the Iwiny station. This solution has been put in place to help participants reach the start at Tarczyński Arena Wrocław easily and to ensure a comfortable and safe journey home after the event.
On 6 June, holders of the starter pack will be able to travel free of charge by Koleje Dolnośląskie to and from the Wrocław Stadion station:
- Wrocław Główny → Wrocław Stadion: regular services + a special train at 8:30 p.m.
- Wrocław Stadion → Wrocław Główny: regular return services + special trains at 1 a.m., 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
Public transport will also run more frequently after the event to ensure a smooth return to the city centre for participants and supporters.
Park & Ride car parks
Due to the scale of the event, changes to traffic arrangements and the limited availability of parking spaces in the vicinity of Tarczyński Arena Wrocław, we recommend that participants and supporters travel by tram, bus or train, or use the Park & Ride facilities and continue their journey by public transport.
Park & Ride car parks will be available:
- from Friday, 5 June 2026, at 6 p.m.,
- till Monday, 8 June 2026, at 5 a.m.
This is a convenient option for those coming from outside Wrocław – leave your car behind and take public transport to the event. The organisers would also like to remind you that the Śląska Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic:
- from 5 June, 8 p.m.,
- until 7 June, 10 a.m.
