"Restaurant Week is all about win-win. The guests can savour great meals at affordable prices, and the chefs and restaurateurs will showcase their best skills to win the customers for the months to come. Wrocław Restaurant Week brings a real opportunity for the local dining industry to develop," says Piotr Gładczak, a culinary blogger and the founder of the Wroclawskie Podróże Kulinarne [Wroclaw Culinary Journeys] website.
The main prize, which is awarded by the guests themselves, in the spring edition of the festival was carried off by Alyki. Honorary mentions were also presented to: Dinette SkyTower, Villa Bianco, Spichlerz, La Maddalena and Patio.
Alyki's owner Jacek Szydłowski says that the contest benefited his restaurant a lot: "The two editions of WRW and our spring victory were both a great surprise and a confirmation of our hopes, which we pinned on the quality of the produce, the innovative menu and the courteous customer service. This, in brief, is our recipe for success. The award gave us a real boost and motivated the entire crew to work harder and be more creative.
