Spyrosoft works on a Covid-19 patient monitoring system

The Wroclaw company Spyrosoft expands its staff and works, among others, on a Covid-19 patient monitoring system.

They believe the crisis may be an opportunity to reinforce the IT industry. The Wroclaw company Spyrosoft is a supplier of software and technological solutions for automotive, finance, Industry 4.0, medicine, geospatial services, HR and other sectors. Its scope of work has recently been expanded with six new projects.

Since the beginning of 2020, 80 persons have been employed.

‘We specialise in software engineering. We work with Artificial Intelligence and other advanced technologies and on the basis of currently popular public clouds. In times of pandemic, our advantage lies in projects being customers’ long-term investments, such as the ones that we implement in the automotive sector. In addition, we are flexible and we know how to translate technological and quality solutions from one industry to another, hence our presence in the dynamically growing medical sector. One of the proofs of the stable condition of the Spyrosoft Group is that we constantly look for employees,’ assures Tomasz Bienkiewicz.

Apart from Wroclaw, Kraków and Białystok, new employees have also joined teams in Warsaw, London and Zagreb. This means that the company, which has its offices also in Munich, Braunschweig (Germany) and in Detroit (USA), employs as many as 501 specialists.

Spyrosoft’s value grows

The company states that the Spyrosoft Group has a stable market position in spite of the pandemic and the economic slowdown. In the 1st quarter of 2020, the consolidated revenues of the Spyrosoft S.A. Capital Group totalled PLN 25.2 million. This means a 74% increase during the last 12 months and a 3% increase towards the previous quarter.

The net profit earned in the first three months of 2020 totalled PLN 2.8 million. In comparison to the last quarter of 2019, this is an increase on the level of 126%. Since February 2020, the company has been listed on New Connect – the market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
