Three gates towards Katowice (no. 11, 12, 13) will be closed, and drivers (no. 9 and 10) will have two gates at their disposal. This stage of works should be completed within around 2 weeks.
Recommended bypass route for vehicles up to 3.5 t
In order to avoid traffic jams and complications, a recommended bypass route has been designated for drivers of vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total weight. It starts on the Wrocław Południe junction, where drivers exit the A4 motorway and enter the S8 expressway (which continues as the national road no. 8) towards Kłodzko. Then it is necessary to turn onto the provincial road no. 346 (towards Oława) and then onto the provincial road no. 395 (towards Wroclaw). Going down the provincial road no. 395, drivers will reach the Wrocław Wschód motorway junction. The same recommended bypass route applies to the opposite traffic direction.
The anticipated time of completion of repair works is the end of June.
