Is it sufficient to fill in an application in the electronic recruitment system?
Yes, on one condition. An application entered in the electronic system must be signed by a trusted profile.
Single parenting
How should I document the single parenting of a child?
You should submit to the system or the relevant institution a legally binding decision of a family court pronouncing the divorce or separation or the death certificate and fill in a statement of single parenting of the child and non-parenting of any child together with its parent.
The chairperson of the recruitment board may request documents confirming the facts included in the statement (e.g., a court decision pronouncing the deprivation of parental rights of the father/mother). The statement of single parenting may be verified in the course of an interview that is subject to legal provisions concerning the family background interview conducted by relevant public institutions, including the Municipal Social Welfare Centre [MOPS].
Multi-children family
May I tick the criterion of multi-children family if children from a previous relationship are raised in another home (with the other parent)?
No. This criteria applies to three or more children in one household.
May I tick the criterion of family with many children if the child is at least 18 years old?
Yes, if this child is raised and learns in a joint household.
Is a family raising two children that is expecting another child regarded as a multi-children family?
If the family becomes larger at the time of filing the recruitment application, parents may tick the criterion of multi-children family. If the youngest child is born after the deadline for the submission of recruitment applications, parents will not be entitled to benefit from this criterion.
Income
Should I enter the gross income or net income?
You must enter the net income, including the accurate amount of groszy (the income must not be rounded up).
What months are taken into account?
Any three months out of six months preceding the submission of the application (they do not have to follow one another); however, the mother’s and father’s income must be reported for the same months.
What earnings must be entered if they are in foreign currency?
The income must be converted into PLN at the average rate of NBP as on 24th March 2021.
Living in Wroclaw
What if someone knows that he/she will move to Wroclaw after the deadline for electronic recruitment and it will be his/her place of residence, for example, from July?
If he/she already has a document confirming that his/her residence will be in Wroclaw, he/she may take part in the electronic recruitment.
Should I be registered for residence in Wroclaw?
No, such registration is not required. When filling the application in the system, a parent should enter his/her current address of residence. For recruitment purposes, it is assumed that residence is:
- a) residence confirmed by permanent registration,
- b) residence confirmed by temporary registration as on 1st September 2021,
- c) residence confirmed by any other document (e.g., a preliminary agreement with a developer, the notarial deed concerning the purchase of real property, a tenancy agreement).
Employment of parents
How long is a certificate of employment valid?
A certificate issued from January 2021 is valid for the entire recruitment period, i.e., till 31st August 2021.
Is a mandate contract or a work contract treated as employment and may I indicate them in the recruitment form?
Each contract (a mandate contract, a work contract, business activity, etc.) is treated as employment.
Is a person on maternity or parental leave treated as an employed person?
Persons on maternity or parental leaves remain in an employment relationship. After ticking the relevant criterion, such persons are obliged to attach a certificate of employment when submitting their documentation to the institution. Persons running business activity must submit a relevant statement.
Disability of the candidate
May a disabled child be recruited only to an integrative kindergarten?
No, general public kindergartens may also be chosen.
Disability of parents
Are points for the disability of parents added together, or does a candidate receive 200 points regardless of whether he/she has one or two disabled persons in his/her family?
There are two criteria to choose from: either both parents, or one of them is disabled. These two criteria cannot be ticked at the same time. The maximum number of points for the disability of parents is 200.
