Drivers going down the ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego must be very careful in the area of the Świdnicka Passage, because the traffic system has changed here and they have only two traffic lanes at their disposal. On the side of the Galeria Dominikańska mall, we can go straight only from two lanes on the level of the multi-level car park. The extreme lane is used only for turning onto ul. Szewska. The internal lane has been narrowed to two metres of width within a section of several metres. Its fragment behind the tram stop runs on a green strip. Drivers taking this route must pay attention to the course of yellow temporary lines. Unfortunately, a part of drivers ignores them.
The rebuilding of the Świdnicka Passage starts
Driving in the reverse direction (from ul. Zamkowa). A few metres farther, a third lane begins, which is used for turning onto ul. Szewska and turning back towards ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego.
Heavy equipment is already present at the building site. Workers are busy taking the surface apart in the closed traffic lane. These works will make life difficult for drivers for two weeks, and their schedule will be known at the end of January.
