  3. New prices of public transport tickets from 1st July 2021

From 1st July 2021, a new ticket price-list will be introduced in the Wroclaw public transport system. From 1st July 2021, we will pay 3.40 PLN for single tickets, and a 15-minute ticket will cost 2.40 PLN. We will pay 6 PLN for a 90-minute ticket and 11 PLN for a 1-day ticket in Wroclaw.

The change applies only to prices of single tickets and time tickets. Prices of season tickets will not change.

Attention!

Prices of name season tickets will not change for inhabitants of Wroclaw travelling regularly by public transport and settling income tax in Wroclaw who have joined the Our Wroclaw program.

Remember that the term ‘place of residence’ is not identical to the address of legal domicile and each person residing in Wroclaw permanently (for the purpose of learning or working) is entitled to settle their income tax in the relevant Tax Office in Wroclaw, to join the Our Wroclaw program and, consequently, to use Our Wroclaw name tickets.

Wroclaw will maintain the right to free travel

Currently, seniors who are at least 66 years’ old and students who are not 21 years’ old yet are entitled to travel around Wroclaw for free.

Apart from that, the obligation to punch tickets does not apply to war-disabled persons and disabled servicemen, members of the Polish Parliament and Senate, some disabled persons, distinguished voluntary blood and transplant donors and persons who were subjected to political repressions during the period of the Polish People’s Republic and received a special decision from the Head of the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Oppression. All of these persons are still entitled to travel by public transport for free. In addition, the right to free travel will be available to seniors who are at least 66 years old (according to their 66th birthday, not the year of birth) from 1st January 2021 and to persons who are at least 65 years old from 1st January 2022.
