Merck has extensive experience in running shared services in Poland since the opening of the HR Center in Wroclaw in 2013.
The Finance and HR teams will share use the already established structures. Since August 1. this year, the new Financial Services Centre has been located in Merck's existing office in Wroclaw, in Millennium Tower IV at ul. Strzegomska 42 AB.
As expected, the city provides many advantages. These include high availability of highly skilled workers who speak many European languages, as well as the excellent office infrastructure (in combination with competitive cost of real estate). Not without significance is also the attractiveness of Wroclaw's very location, and its accessibility from many parts of Europe.
