Long May weekend in Zajezdnia
Every day, from 30th April till 3rd May, there will be workshops for the young and the old (e.g., creating eco-bags or one’s own spa at home), a relaxation and sports zone (balls, skipping ropes, badminton) and exhibitions (Wroclaw 1945–2016, or Leonardo da Vinci’s Machines), and the stand of the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company will provide free tap water.

Sightseeing of Aula Leopoldina
Conservation works in Aula Leopoldina – a representative hall in the main building of the University of Wroclaw – lasted six years. The results of efforts by over 100 monument renovation experts are renovated frescoes, mouldings, elements of the podium with sculptures, as well as matronea, replaced windows and renovated paintings, boxes and benches. The floor is yet to be completed, but the university authorities want to let inhabitants and visitors in so that they could please their eye with the sight of Aula Leopoldina already now. We will see everything during a special sightseeing tour.

World Guitar Record
This is the jubilee 20th edition of this unusual event initiated by Wroclaw guitarist Leszek Cichoński, a promoter of guitar music. He wanted to impress Americans with a record score and beat it three times.

On Sunday, they will meet live and play together on the Wroclaw Market Square for the first time after a longer break due to the pandemic.
Apart from the main stage (on which Dire Straits musicians or guitar families will perform), a few other smaller stages will function, e.g., for young guitar fans. From 10:00 a.m. till 3:45 p.m., participants will be registered on the spot (online registration is possible earlier), and guitarists will make another attempt to break the record at 4:00 p.m.
3-Majówka at Pergola
The three-day music festival (1st–3rd May at Pergola) that has accompanied the World Guitar Record for years. This year’s line-up includes, among others, Dire Straits members playing as Dire Straits Legacy, Dżem, Nocny Kochanek, Luxtorpeda, Happysad (1st May), Epica, Kult, Ørganek, Daria Zawiałow, Artur Rojek, Mery Spolsky, Karaś/Rogucki (2nd May), Morcheeba, Korpiklaani, Pidżama Porno, Hunter, Brodka, Nosowska, Vito Bambino and Kwiat Jabłoni (3rd May).
Inauguration of the season at Partynice
The program of the opening day comprises eight horse races, including three steeplechases, a race for the Season Opening Prize, two fence races and three flat distance races. There will also be a number of extra attractions for the audience, such as a vaulting show or free pony rides for the youngest children.
