Let's vote! Change Wroclaw with WCB (WBO) 2019

From 20th September till 7th October, you can vote for projects of the Wroclaw Citizens’ Budget (WBO). You can choose from among 235 different ideas. Each inhabitant of Wroclaw is allowed to submit his vote, regardless of age.

Why is it worth voting?

The Wroclaw Citizens’ Budget (WBO) means

  • real investments in your housing estate and city: playgrounds, playing fields, green areas and very many others
  • 235 projects
  • Decisions of inhabitants. 25 million PLN to be spent. You can decide what this amount will be used for!
  • Electronic voting – a secure, simple and fast method. Join us!
  • Changes in the rules of voting
  • In this year’s edition of WCB, the rules of voting have changed. The most important of them are:
  • no limits concerning the age of voting persons;

Everybody can vote regardless of age, including children and young people aged below 18. The only requirement is to state one’s PESEL number. Children are not required to have their personal identity card – everybody receives their own PESEL number along with a birth certificate. We assume that voting persons will have good intentions and be honest. However, if any false data are reported, we will be forced to report such cases to the police and the prosecutor;

voting on paper cards in designated points is possible only against presentation of a document with a photograph;

In order to submit your vote on a paper form, please visit one of the four Inhabitant Service Centres of the Wroclaw City Office, collect and fill in a form and – upon presentation of your personal identity card – cast it into the ballot box (contrary to last year, it is not possible to print a form by yourself). Foreigners having their PESEL numbers are allowed to vote electronically and on paper according to ordinary rules. If they do not have their own PESEL, they can vote personally in the Social Participation Department of the Wroclaw City Office.

Paper voting points – Inhabitant Service Centres (open during working hours of the Wroclaw City Office)
