Traditionally, the most abundant in attractions is the program of the students' festival of the Wroclaw University of Technology. It will begin May 4, as every year, with a breakfast with the rector of the Wroclaw University of Technology, Prof. Tadeusz Więckowski. A year ago, well over half a thousand students attended the event in Strefa Kultury Studenckiej.
The Wittigalia at the WUoT has been scheduled for the entire week. The program includes dozens of cultural and sports, as well as entertainment. As usual, Film Academy and Qulturalia will be held.
On Tuesday, May 5th, comes another P.I.W.O., i.e. Potężny Indeksowany Wyświetlacz Oknowy (Powerful Indexed Window Display, "BEER"). The light show has already gained its loyal viewers. This year, the animation will be presented with the music performed by the Breslaux, and the presentation will last as much as five hours.
Another tradition is the Grill Night. For years, the evening before the Juwenalia parade students set up hundreds of grills. The great outdoor event lasts until late at night.
The Juwenalia will kick off for good in Wittigów on Thursday, May 7. After the parade, concerts begin. This year, the stage by Teki on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will feature, among others Abradab, Farben Lehre, Letni Chamski Podryw, FOCUS, Mesajah and several other bands.
As usual, dozens of activities, contests, games, matches and tournaments are being prepared, including student fun such as the chest slide. This year, the WUoT students will compete with students of the Medical University. The last note of this year's fun will be the Rector's Cup Rally, scheduled for Sunday, May 10.
Juwenalia at the University of Wroclaw are scheduled for Thursday, May 7. In Pola Marsowe (Champs de Mars) will play: Jamal, Bracia Figo Fagot and DonGuralesko.
The universities have also scheduled student events for the next May weekends. Students of the University of Economics will enjoy Ekonomalia from 13 to 15 May and Arkanalia, or entertainment for the students of the University of Life Sciences, will be held on 22 and 23 May.
