1st June is one of the days anticipated most eagerly by children. And adults compete in inventing ideas how to organise Children’s Day for kids. In Wroclaw, there are many events to choose from.
Children’s Day on Wyspa Słodowa, Odnowienie Festival
On 1st June, Wyspa Słodowa will turn into the biggest playground in the city!
Inflatable slides, bouncy castles, an inflatable killer whale (kids’ beloved attraction), an inflatable rodeo, an art factory, large-format games and a special chillout zone for parents with consultation points and a place to rest will be available for free in the kids zone.
Children’s Day in the Staromiejski Garden
On 2nd June, from 12:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m., the Staromiejski Garden near the Wroclaw Puppet Theatre will turn into a real kingdom of children and art. Both kids and schoolchildren can have a wonderful time here under the eye of artists and professional cultural activity organisers.
Children can take part in a number of free activities, such as workshops or theatre shows. They will also meet exceptional people from Wroclaw: Mayor of Wroclaw Jacek Sutryk, Professor Jan Miodek, Natalia Lubrano and Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało, who will read fairy tales and poems to them.
Entrance is free.
Events addressed to children are also offered by Wroclaw museums (;the Ethnographic Museum and the National Museum will hold workshops for children, and the Pan Tadeusz Museum has prepared a weekend program for kids under the #muzealniaki initiative).
Children’s Day in the New Horizons Cinema
For two days, numerous attractions – not only those related to films – will await children in the New Horizons Cinema.
