The aim of the competition was to find the most talented young people with achievements in art, sport, politics or other fields. By winning the competition, the student from Wroclaw obtained an internship in a leading company and a financial prize of 5,000 PLN. The competition was organised by Adzuna – a UK’s job search engine.
Fights diseases
Domaszewska is a graduate of pharmaceutical biotechnology. She defended her master’s thesis with a distinction and completed a one-year’s internship at the University of Virginia, USA, where she worked on new drugs aimed at treating denga and influenza.
Helps children
During her studies, Domaszewska did not focus on studying only. She also found time for engaging in various external projects – among others, she was a volunteer with the Wroclaw Philharmonics and collected items among her friends for the Kairos Foundation, which provides aid to poor children. After finishing her studies, Domaszewska did not rest on her laurels – she has already started her PhD. The object of her research is the drug-resistant tuberculosis mycobacterium.
