  • You can also use the paid services of private estate agencies. Be sure that the agencies are well-recommended (do not forget to ask about the commission, and read the contract carefully,
  • buying flat by the foreigners are subject to special regulations.

REMEMBER TO CHECK:

  1. What the rental price includes and any additional bills or charges.
  2. If a deposit is required and its amount.
  3. Whether the landlord owns the property or has the right to sublet.
  4. The structure of the contract, including the notice period and responsibility for minor repairs.
  5. If the contract includes a handover report describing the flat's condition and meter readings to avoid disputes over the deposit.

The renting costs usually do not include the administrative rent (approx. 600-900 PLN/month) nor the utilities (gas, electricity, water - paid according to meters). 

  • A standard rental agreement is signed for the period of 1 year. Landlords often require a deposit, which is usually 1-2 months' rent. This deposit is returned at the end of the lease, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
  • The cost of living in Wroclaw is very similar to other large cities in Poland (the exception is Warsaw, as the capital), and lower compared to cities of similar size located in Western Europe.
