Opening of Hydropolis and St. Nicholas Day

Na Grobli 19 - 21, tickets 27 PLN (regular) and 18 PLN (reduced).Hydropolis, the only centre of knowledge about water is about to open its door to visitors. The Europe-unique Hydropolis exhibition is located in a historic, 19th century, 4000 m. sq. underground reservoir of fresh water. The exhibition includes 8 theme zones.
For the St. Nicholas weekend, the organisers have planned: - face painting in fish patterns- a Hydropolis Santa, who will hand out treats to children - an additional attraction in the form of an ice sculpture presenting the logo of Hydropolis

Panorama of Lviv at the Centennial Hall

A special installation was created in a specially arranged space of the Centennial Hall. Its main component is a spatial model of the eighteenth-century Lviv, built with great attention to detail by architect and historian Janusz Witwicki. The exhibition is accompanied by a modern, multimedia setting that draws visitors closer to both the person of the author and the dramatic post-war fate of the historic model of the city.
Lego exhibition at Wroclaw Stadium

The exhibits present the characters, places, and events known from stories and films, as well as historical scenes and the most famous architectural structures - both historic and contemporary. Mobile LEGO train models and a huge funfair provide an unforgettable experience.

In December, w mia ART GALLERY will again host a ceramics exhibition in a unique, magical rendition. Anna Malicka-Zamorska will share her personal, magical world of silver unicorns, golden cats, or turquoise wolves. The Wroclaw artist has taken part in numerous symposia on ceramics in Poland and worldwide.
St. Nicolaus Day in Kolejkowo

There will be guessing games, contests and present hunts in the miniature world. Of course, the old St. Nicholas will be there too, with a bag full of presents. If parents wish St. Nicholas to present their child with another gift, they should discreetly bring it over to Kolejkowo on the above days.
24. Wroclaw Good Books' Fair
Friday - Sunday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., on Sundays until 4 p.m., Wroclaw Congress Centre (RCTB) at the Centennial Hall, free admission
The fair is accompanied by an interesting programme, which, apart from meetings with the favourite authors, includes, for example discussions, presentations, creative workshops for readers of all ages, a special programme for schools (on Thursday and Friday), competitions and exhibitions. St. Nicholas will join in on December 6., with attractions for kids and families.
Christmas Market Wroclaw 2015

Plenty of attractions await visitors among forest-fragrant Christmas trees, the aroma of mulled wine and chocolate-covered gingerbreads. They can sample many delicacies and regional products from Poland and all over Europe. Enthusiasts of culinary thrills will have plenty to choose from: Alsatian flatbreads, Italian cheeses, Hungarian goulash, Turkish baklava, smoked fish, oriental sushi, roasted chestnuts, sweets and so on.

St. Nicholas Day in Wrocław Arkady
December 5-6, 2 - 6 p.m., Arkady Wrocławskie, free admission
This year, both the younger and a bit older clients of Arkady will have three opportunities to meet St. Nicholas. The lord of presents and children's favourite will await them with his singing helpers on December 5, 6 and 20. On these days, there will be a specially prepared armchair, in which kids can sit and have a photo. Children will be welcome to participate in Christmas guessing games and a juggling show by the Elf.
Fair: Craft Of Hand Fest Vol. 4

Kilar. Piano Virtuosity

The attraction of the Saturday evening with orchestra music will no doubt be II Piano concert by Wojciech Kilar. The soloist in this work will be the excellent Beata Bilińska, who took part in the work's premiere in October 2011, as well as in its album recording, which was awarded with the prestigious Fryderyk award several months ago.
Wykwit Gallery - exhibition opening

The leitmotif of the exhibition is the case of a basement closet. The basement represents the world of a chaotic collection, which shelters useless junk, as well as valuable, yet forced out objects, which we can't get rid of for various reasons. Open until December 19.
WROsound FESTIVAL 2015

The WROsound Festival will again offer the audience a portion of the novelties of the Wroclaw scene, spiced up with the flavours drawn from the current of the Oder. St. Nicolas Day at Wrocław Stadium
Sunday, December 6, 12 - 4 p.m., Wroclaw Station, pl. Śląska 1
St. Nicolas is coming to Wroclaw Stadium. Between 12 and 4 p.m., he will tour the stadium with kids, play building blocks and race go-karts. But that's not all. He will also have photos taken, and will hand out gifts. There will be special guests, too. On December 6, you can reach the stadium with a historic, St. Nicholas tram, which will run every hour from the city centre (pl. Teatralny) towards Leśnica.

Every Sunday throughout the year, dozens of great exhibitors offer high quality Polish and foreign products as well as certified goods. 100 Years of Warsaw City Post - exhibition

The exhibition presents stamps and stamp designs, a postman's hat, as well as original complaints and demands of postmen from the times of Warsaw City Post in the years 1915 -1918.
St. Nicholas Day in Skałka Climbing Centre

You don't need to register in advance, just join in. For kids, there will be an art competition, 'Ecological fridge magnets.' All comers will be treated to sweets. Bike marking by the police is also planned. The climbing competition will take part in four categories.

Race of St. Nicolases at Partynice
Sunday, December 6, 12 a.m., Partynice Racecourse, free admission
At noon, a group of St. Nicholas will appear on the start line. They will race in the Race of St. Nicolas. The annual event, the core aim of which is to collect funds for charity, is based on a unique concept: one kilometre covered is one zloty allocated to helping children. In Wroclaw, the race route is 10.75 km. To support the noble cause, you just need to do at least one lap on the track. Additionally, plenty of attractions will await all participants.
St. Nicholas Day at Pasaż Grunwaldzki

Every child will have the opportunity to meet St. Nicholas, share with him their wishes, tug on his beard, and get a souvenir photo. The St. Nicholas Workshop will also be established in the centre, with a bakery, confectionery and a theatre.
Dressing the Nowe Horyzonty Christmas tree

The Nowe Horyzonty Cinema, together with the Paliwo Artystyczne Foundation, welcome children to open workshop in making felt Christmas tree decorations. Every comer will have the opportunity to make unique toys, one of which will be hung on the grand Christmas tree inside the cinema. There will be angels, little Santas, stars and many colourful decorations.
St. Nicholas Day at the ice skating rink by the Centennial Hall

Starting from noon, visitors can take part in numerous games and contests organised at the rink by the Centennial Hall, such as tug of war, mini-hockey, as well as other sporting competitions. Kids can count on free tutoring by professional ice skating instructors, and all this in a special, Christmas music setting. On this special day, St. Nicholas will treat all ice skaters to sweet treats.
St. Nicholas Factory in Auchan Bielany

At special stands, kids will have the opportunity to create original Christmas toys, together with St. Nicholas and his Snowflakes. In the Christmas ball factory, kids will have the opportunity to conjure up colourful Christmas tree decorations, and hand-decorate them. The meeting with St. Nicholas will also be the opportunity to make gingerbread decorations and Santa hats.
11th Wroclaw Festival of Saint Nicholas Street

As every year, the Association of Wroclaw Enthusiasts organises the celebrations of św. Mikołaja street. There will be plenty of great fun and prizes. The programme includes a contest, as well as rides with a St. Nicholas tram.

Free admission to the Four Domes Pavillion for all, no registration is required. The National Museum welcomes visitors to the newly modernised facility. Guests will have volunteers at their disposal, who will answer all their questions.

Acoustic St. Nicholas Day with the band LIPALI. Lipali is a Polish rock band, started in the year 2000 by Tomasz Lipnicki. Lipnicki is known by his charismatic vocal, but apart from his vocal chords, he also makes good use of the strings of the electric guitar.
Swinging St. Nicholas Day in Mleczarnia

The ensemble to perform will be: Paulina Gołębiowska - vocal, Tomasz Jędrzejewski - piano, Jakub Olejnik - double bass, Mateusz Maniak - percussion. The concert's repertoire will include the most popular jazz compositions relating to St. Nicholas and Christmas traditions. The repertoire will include St. Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells, or Let it Snow.
Free admission to the Sky Tower viewpoint

On St. Nicholas Day, enthusiasts of Wroclaw and beautiful views will have the opportunity to enter the viewpoint in Sky Tower free of charge. For the two hours, no tickets, no booking will be required, only first come, first served. Entrance to the viewpoint is located in ul. Gwiaździsta. The special, free rides with the express elevator will take place at: 10, 10.30, 11, 11.30 and 12 p.m. Each trip to the viewpoint can accommodate a maximum of fifty people.
