
Sighthseeing of the Capitol

Every Saturday in August, at 3 pm, the Musical Theatre Capitol is open for sightseeing for individual guests. A ticket for a tour of the Capitol costs 5 PLN and you can buy it at the box office as well as on-line. A tour of the theatre takes a little over an hour.

Sports aerobics, petanque and karate in Południowy Park
August 6-7, 3 - 5 pm, Poludniowy Park - the clearing by the white ECC container, near the restaurant "Agawa", free admission.
At 5 pm, a class in sports aerobic is scheduled, as part of the programme "Train With the World Games Champion". The leader will be Jolanta Sobieraj, recommended by the Wrocław University of Physical Education. You can bring your own mat, though 20 mats were prepared, just in case.

Reminiscence of a Love Feast - an exhibition of fashion and photography
August 6, 6 pm (opening), until 18 September, the Pan Tadeusz Museum, Rynek 6, free admission
The exhibition "Reminiscence of a Love Feast" is a multi-layered presentation - in the arranged space you can see original wedding dresses from the communist era and archival photographs from the collection of Anna Straszewska and Zuzanna Żubka-Chmielewska, as well as from private albums of the residents of Lower Silesia. Visitors can listen to stories, collected by journalist Beata Kwiatkowska, of people from across Poland who recall the emotions and events related to their weddings.

Singing Europe 2016 - concert at the NFM
June 6, 6 pm, National Forum of Music, tickets: 70-300 PLN
The participants of the final edition will be young amateur singers, as well as the stars of the world music scene: Aleksandra Kurzak, Roberto Alagna, Paul McCreesh. In total, the concerts will be attended by several thousand people. Joint concerts and meetings with choirs from Lower Silesia will allow them to exchange experiences and learning about each other's cultures. The programme includes the most famous opera arias and choruses.

Holy Ship! 2016

Behind the title Holy Ship! lies a party on a cruise ship during her five-hour cruise on the Oder River. For the occasion, the organizers have rented a ship from one of Wroclaw shipowners, invited Wroclaw DJs and are putting this event together in the natural setting of the Oder. This time, the dance's theme is D'N'B, jungle, bass, house. Those in charge of the party vibe are: MacBeat & DT (Subwena) - TVB - Brat Mat.

Flamenco concert in Księgarnia Hiszpańska

This concert is an opportunity to see live how flamenco is performed traditionally. With such rhythms, your legs will surely itch to dance. On stage: Nando del Río - vocals and keyboards, Soto Niño - vocals.

P&P Foundation on holidays - concert in Neon Side

P&P (Peppers and Pen) Foundation welcomes to a hip-hop bomb, which will drop for the second time in the club Neon Side. Everybody is welcome, especially those who remember the times of Podium, Rocker, Kolor and 5 Nutek. It will be excellent and unique opportunity to see the old, hardcore bunch again.

João de Sousa in ZaZoo

João de Sousa - singer, guitarist and composer from Porto. He is known to wider audience as the finalist of the 4th edition of X-Factor. After the success of the project and the album João de Sousa & Fado Polaco in 2012, hundreds of concerts in Poland, Germany and Portugal, João has returned with a new album, Luta. Eleven original works include yet another sound palette - mainly jazz, including reggae, hip-hop and alternative music.

The program includes fashion and ethnographic workshops, activities with elements of basketball, squash, and a photo contest. During the family workshop you can, among others, design jeans for your favourite book character. Children over the age of 13 and adults are also welcome to a flower composition classes, held in two parts: from 1 to 3.30 pm - making wreaths, and 4 to 5.30 - floral handmade.

Summer in the Synagogue - Alex Jakobowitz

The musician was born in New York in 1960. While studying at the Eastman School of Music in New York, he learned to play various percussion instruments, but was most charmed with the sound of the xylophone. Since 1990, his life has been divided between Jerusalem and Berlin. In 2016, he was recognized by the German government for his contribution to the revival of Jewish culture after the dramatic period of the Holocaust.
