The replacement of parking meters results from the termination of the agreement with the current zone operator – CPG and its assignment to a new operator – KBU from Kraków. In new parking meters, you can pay a parking fee using Pay Pass or Pay Wave cards, BLIK or small change. The first machines, still wrapped up in film, have already appeared on the streets of Wroclaw.
In 299 parking meters that will be available in Wroclaw, you can still make payments by means of mobile applications (by mobile phone). Payment with Urbancard will no longer be possible.
New parking meters will be located in the same spots as the old ones. Nearly 200 machines will be installed in Zone C, 45 in Zone B and 58 in Zone A. The agreement with the new operator will be valid for 7 years.
