Two historic facilities, a boiler house dating back to 1910 and a water tower, will be saved by investors who launch their activity at Maszynownia Biznesu, Wroclaw Technology Park.

Wroclaw Technology Park (Wrocławski Park Technologiczny S.A.) has sold another two of its properties. They were purchased by tobi's events. Tobias Kruszewski is going to open a service and sales point run by nivtec, a company dealing in stage systems.

"We have selected Wroclaw for its central location to serve Polish and Central European clients," says Maria Kruszewski, nivtec's owner.

The property contains two historic facilities that need renovation. A boiler room which dates back to 1910 (one of the oldest buildings in the area) and a small water tower. Once they have been renovated, the boiler house will serve as a space to organise exhibitions and events and the water tower will be converted into an office building with a café.

"This space is just perfect for our company. Wroclaw, the city centre and a great business environment. We are perfectly aware that it calls for a huge investment. We have embarked on the project to save these two historic buildings and to restore them to their former glory because we want to show how greatly attached we are to Wroclaw's former generations and its history," say Maria and Tobias Kruszewski.

Maszynownia Biznesu

The Maszynownia Biznesu area in ul. Fabryczna in Wroclaw has been changing for two years now and is becoming one of the most attractive area to run a business in Wroclaw. The area is 13.5 ha in size and located in Wroclaw's city centre (Pafawag train carriage factory). Wroclaw Technology Park has just completed one of its investments. The park received a EU subsidy to convert an old office building into a Technology and Business Incubator, completely modern and one of the largest of its kind in Poland.

At the end of March, Maszynowna Biznesu will also launch Nowa Siódemka, a new manufacturing space and a warehouse rolled into one.

The Maszynownia Biznesu area has several more plots of land on offer. Some of them contain facilities which need to be either renovated or demolished. Some of them have no facilities at all. The offer will soon be extended with smaller plots of land up to 1000 sqm to suit the needs of those investors who express interest in smaller properties.
