The Lower Silesian Oncology Centre will be erected on a plot of 22 ha at ul. Kosmonautów in Wroclaw. It is estimated that the new big medical centre will receive 30,000 patients per annum. The investment will be carried out by the Local Government of the Lower Silesia Province.
According to the design, each ward will be placed in one of the three wings, and operating rooms will be located on two storeys of the hospital. Doctors and patients will have around 100,000 sq.m. at their disposal.
15 operating rooms and over 700 beds will be located in 25 hospital wards. Doctors will perform over 10,000 treatments and 200,000 ambulatory services per annum, and 30,000 patients will gain professional support and access to the state-of-the-art medical equipment. The concept provides for the construction of around 1,300 parking places and 29 stands for bicycles.
The cost of the investment is 700 million PLN, of which 300 million PLN will be provided from the state budget.
