In October, Ryanair’s representatives announced that another aircraft of the same airline would be stationed in Wroclaw, which will allow more connections to be added to the schedule. As we have said, there is a new destination: Lamezia Terme, a city located in the south of the Apennine Peninsula in the Calabria region.
Between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Ionian Sea. When is the first flight?
Calabria is a region with access to the Tyrrhenian Sea (from the west) and the Ionian Sea (from the east). Lamezia Terme is located closer to the Western coast. ‘We are very excited about the new destination, which has all the attributes to become a hit of the next summer season,’ predicts Karol Przywara, CEO of Wroclaw Airport. ‘Located within a flying distance of just over two hours from Wroclaw, Lamezia is a perfect place for those looking for relaxation away from tourist crowds,’ he adds.
The new destination will be added to the 2025 summer flight schedule. The first plane to Lamezia will take off from Wroclaw on 30th March. Tickets can already be booked. Examples of round-trip prices with free small hand luggage (as on 14th November 2024):
- 13th–18th April – PLN 414: departure from Wroclaw at 6:15 a.m., landing in Wroclaw at 8:35 p.m.;
- 16th–18th May – PLN 414: departure from Wroclaw at 3:25 p.m., landing in Wroclaw at 11:25 a.m.
Flights will take place twice a week: every Friday and Sunday.
