The Largest city train set in Poland is now officially open. Check out prices and opening hours.

The exhibition is divided into several parts. One of them is devoted to forestry and agriculture and includes farm animals, and a beautifully modelled farmhouse. The second part includes Karpacz and Śnieżka Mountain, with an accurate rendition of the observatory. Further on there is a Wroclaw Market Square with meticulously reproduced tenements, the Świebodzki Station and concrete residential blocks at ul. Żmigrodzka. The heart of the model is the station of Kolejkowo.pl, with a replica of the Szwajcarka mountain hostel.

The model includes also a humorous twist: one of the buildings includes a hooligan-stylized graffiti saying "Karpacz demands access to the sea." Between the fixed figures of houses, cars, animals and humans run nine trains and one tram. Moreover, near Wroclaw Market Square a police car passes with the siren going.

It took twelve modellers two years to create the giant model. For example, it took two months to build Świebodzki Station. As the modellers insist, they are committed to re-creating every detail. Before they take on creating a model, they consult the building's documentation. Though the exposition is not entirely finished, it already is nothing but impressive. The miniature city includes over 700 figurines.

The entire system can be operated with a tablet. Modellers with Kolejkowo had to write the program, as commercially available apps were unable to process such a number of elements. "The lighting makes it possible to imitate day or night," says Jakub Paczyński, adding that this was not yet the end of the project. The makers of Kolejkowo want to expand the model to the size of 450 m sq., and to introduce interaction with visitors in the new part. "Visitors will be able to operate a car, or a boat on the lake," they explain.

The city train set has been officially opened on 26. January, at 12.00 sharp. The attraction will be available every day between 10.00 and 18.00. Tickets cost 19 PLN (regular), and 15 PLN (reduced); admission is free for children under 3 years. Organized group of 15 people 15/12.
