Will you close Wroclaw?
The City Hall has no such plans and will not make such a request to anyone. We encourage you to follow verified information channels, including the www.wroclaw.pl portal and a special newsletter with verified information.
Will public transport run?
At present we have no such plans. From March 17. trams follow Saturday schedules.
There is a special security zone for bus drivers, the doors are opened automatically, not with a warm button, buses also stop at "stops on demand".
What about civil weddings?
They are still taking place, although we asked only bridal couple and marriage witnesses to attend the ceremony. Guests are kindly requested to wait in front of the Registry Office. If possible, please postpone the wedding date.
What about rent and taxes? How can I stay at home if I need to make payments on time?
The most important are government system solutions. Unfortunately, they are still missing. Of course, payments made in e.g. Tax Office are something different than these made in the Municipality Office and its units.
- In matters where local government has competence, we will postpone payment terms and respond favourably to any requests from entrepreneurs.
- We will consider each case individually
- Discussions on how to help entrepreneurs who pay rental to the city or the Treasury are ongoing.
What about restaurants and cafes? They will go bankrupt.
We have started #WroclawNaWynos. We really want to support Wroclaw restaurateurs – they hire people and pay taxes in this city. A lot of them offer food to go or delivery. On the website www.wroclaw.pl there is a special service where one can add an offer. Please share this idea, add restaurants that you know. Let’s do it together.
