Multicultural UPS, or how the UPSers from GBS Wroclaw function in the world of business with no limits. Learning from our experience, we will tell you how cultural differences impact professional relations in an international work environment, and how Polish people are perceived by business partners abroad. Project Management workshop and Laugh@work session

Project Management workshop led by Ireneusz Szukiewicz. Workshop introduction to the specifics of project management with the changing environment. Students will be divided in groups of five people. Each of the group will receive a description of the game rules and their particular role to play. They will act as a team members having different experiences, characters, priorities and goals. Their task will be to prepare a project within a particular time frame and conditions like limitation factors, risks and challenges. The project presentation will contain Vision Box and Management Summary so as to prepare the ground for a decision whether we should carry out the project or not. In order to energize you we will open with short Laugh@work session - an Ice breaker presenting the power of smiling and laughing at work, that corresponds with our culture’s leading idea of reinventing - this method could be a unique way of creating powerful community, enhancing satisfaction at work and encouraging “out of the box” thinking.
