Roman Aftanazy
(1914 -2004) Historyk kultury. Absolwent Uniwersytetu im. Jana Kazimierza we Lwowie.
Pracownik Zakładu Narodowego im. Ossolińskich we Lwowie, a po II wojnie
światowej w latach 1946-1981 we Wrocławiu. Uczestniczył w przewożeniu
Zbiorów Ossolineum oraz Panoramy Racławickiej ze Lwowa do Wrocławia.
Autor monumentalnego dzieła „Dzieje rezydencji na dawnych Kresach Rzeczypospolitej”.
Historian of culture. Graduate of the Jan Kazimierz University in Lwów.
Employed at the Ossoliński National Institute in Lwów and after the Second World War,
from 1946 to 1981, in Wrocław. He participated in the transfer of the Ossolineum
collections and the Racławice Panorama from Lwów to Wrocław. The author of the
monumental History of Residences in Poland’s Former Fastern Borderlands.
