The Newest Polish Cinema
This is a replica of the festival
held in Gdynia.
The festival has been organised since 1996 in autumn.
There are premieres and pre-premiere presentations of movies awarded with Gdansk Golden
Lions and awards at the Polish Feature Films Festival in Gdynia. The films are rated
in separate categories (irrespective of the rating in Gdynia) by an academic jury
comprised of workers and students of Wroclaw universities.
Wroclaw Film Spring
The festival has been organised
since 1994 and is a week-long overview of films – mostly Polish.
The presentations, which take place in the last week of April, are accompanied by
meetings of the audience with artists – directors, composers and actors.

International New Media Art Biennial
The festival has been organised since 1989 and is devoted to the opportunities that
modern information and communication technologies create for art. WRO consists of
exhibitions, concerts, projections and presentations of the newest accomplishments of
multimedia art worldwide. The festival takes place in museums, galleries, concert halls,
TV studios and on its website in May.
