The Festival has been organised since 1966 and lasts about two weeks (a week in June an a week in September). There are concerts cantatas, symphonies, chamber music, opera and ballet performances, opening parties, sacral music of different religions, vocal and instrumental recitals and the so-called performances presenting music of various cultures. |

The International Music Festival
The festival has been organised since 1991 in May. There are symphonic, chamber and choir concerts, as well as recitals. Famous artists take part in the festival, but young performers are promoted.

The festival has been organised since 1979. It includes the Song Interpretation Contest, Theatre School Days (when academic performances are presented), and Gala, i.e. a concert and recitals of theatre stars.
Jazz nad Odra (Jazz upon Odra)
International Jazz Festival
The festival has been organised since 1964 in May, and it lasts three days. Each year there is a different leading theme. The most important part includes concerts of stars the best Polish and foreign jazz musicians.
Zaduszki Jazzowe (Jazz All Souls' Day)
The festival has been organised since 1977 in the beginning of November. The most famous Polish and foreign jazzmen participate.
Srody Jazzowe na Jatkach (The Jatki Jazz Wednesdays)
The event has been organised since 1997. There are chamber concerts of famous Wroclaw jazz musicians and guest shows of famous artists combined with jam sessions.

The Festival of Polish Contemporary Music
The festival has been organised since 1962. It takes place biannually in February and it promotes Polish contemporary music opuses. There are prestigeful Polish premieres with Polish and foreign soloists presented.
Wroclawskie Lato Organowe (The Wroclaw Organ Summer)
The festival has been organised since 1993 in June, July and August. The best Polish and foreign organists perform in it. The concerts take place in churches of Wroclaw.
Wrocławski Festiwal Gitarowy (Wrocław Guitar Festival)
International Guitar Festival
The festival has been organised since 1998 in Autumn. The best guitarists of a young generation are presented. Apart from the concerts, there are lectures and masters' lessons.
Maj z Muzyka Dawna (The Old Music May)
International Festival
The festival has been organised since 1992. There is old music played in its original sound. The event promotes young artists students and graduates of Polish and foreign Universities of Music. An important stream in the festival are lectures by renowned musicologists. There are meetings with old music performers and exhibitions of historical instruments during the festival.

Miedzynarodowe Forum Chopinowskie (International Chopin Forum)
The festival has been organised since 1988 in November, and it promotes young Polish and foreign pianists, especially those who are going to take part in the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Festival in Warszawa.
Miedzynarodowy Festiwal Muzyki Wiedenskiej (International Festival of Vienna Music)
The festival has been organised since 1993 in October, and it promotes Vienna music. The programme includes dance, operetta and symphonic music.
Lykend (Weekend)
Festival of Polish Students' Song The festival has been organised since 1991, and it promotes young singers of authorial songs and sung poetry. It takes place during the second weekend of April.
Festiwal Barborkowy Chorow Studenckich (St. Barbara Miner's Day Festival of Students' Choirs)
The festival has been organised since 1973. It takes place in the first decade of December. There are the best Polish and foreign amateur choirs performing in the Festival. A capella music prevails in the programme. The concerts are crowned with a large vocal and instrumental form performed by choirs, a symphony orchestra and soloists.
Szanty nad Odra (Sailors' Songs upon Odra)
The Sailors' Songs Festival
The festival has been organised since 1989 in the last weekend of March. It is addressed to children and youth, as well as sailing devotees. The festival comprises of two parts a contest and concerts, where professional musicians perform too.
Filharmonia dla Mlodych (Philharmonic for Youth)
The event has been organised since 1966. It is a series of concerts for children and youth, and promotes young soloists, who have the opportunity to play on a philharmonic stage with professional orchestra.
Wtorki Muzyczne (Music Tuesdays)
The concerts have been organised by the Wroclaw Academy of Music since 1949. Music Tuesdays are a permanent stage for musicians from the Academy or for those invited. The concerts divide into the following series: Performing Models (concerts of the most remarkable artists), Contest Winners, Academy of Music Students' Stage, Academy of Music Workers' Stage, Degree Recitals, Anniversary and Occasional Concerts, A Composer Among Listeners, Wroclaw Choirs' Presentations. Once a year there is a presentation of students from secondary music schools in Wroclaw, Legnica, Jelenia Gora, Opole and Zgorzelec. Each year the young composers from Wroclaw show their work. The concerts take place in the Music Room of the Academy of Music in Wroclaw and in the Literature Club.
Wieczory Lisztowskie (Lisztian Evenings)
The concerts have been organised since 1989 and they mainly popularise the music of Ferenc Liszt and his relationships with Polish culture. The performers, along with the renowned artists, include young talented musicians (winners of various music contests). Art and photography exhibitions accompany the event. The Lisztian Evenings take place every month in Wroclaw, Brzeg, Nysa, Trzebnica, Oborniki Slaskie and Glogow.
Lisztian Evenings Concerts dedicated to the impaired
The concerts have been organised since 1992. Their idea is to combine music with therapy. The performances are preceded with a spoken comment regarding the presented music, its composers and performers. The poetic and music concerts by famous vocalists and chamber music performers take place in Wroclaw, Oborniki Slaskie, Olesnica, Brzeg and Trzebnica once a month.
Mimoza (Mimosa)
The Sung Poetry Festival
The festival has been organised since 1989 in the first weekend of December. It is addressed to children and youth of the region. The event promotes sung poetry to the youth, and it includes a contest, as well as concerts of the best participants and invited stars.
Chichot (Giggle)
The Funny Song and Text Festival
The festival has been organised since 1992 in November. It is addressed to children and students from Wroclaw and the region. Its purpose is to provoke youth's invention and promote music and literary culture. The festival comprises of a contest and a concert, and the performing amateurs can meet famous artists there.
Festiwal Piosenki Debilnej (The Moronic Song Festival)
The festival has been organised since 1988. The Wroclaw festival of Polish comedy theatre groups is organised in a form of a contest as a part of the Grunwaliada.
