This year's Great Wroclaw Student Initiation Rites are already nine is a series to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year. At the beginning of October, students party in several major cities throughout Poland. The rules remain the same: if you buy a ticket to one club, you are also entitled to access several other clubs, bars or discos that have been included on the map for Wroclaw party-goers. More than 10 thousand people take part in the event each year.
Those who attend the Great Wroclaw Student Initiation Rites are in for a number of attractions, surprises and competitions that are unavailable on a regular basis. This year's edition includes: karaoke, live gigs, dance and juggling shows as well as competitions with prizes such as language courses and passes to climbing walls, squash and fitness clubs and dance schools.
Tickets to the event are available at students houses, at student government offices and student organisations (available at 15 PLN in pre-sales) and at Eventim sales outlets (17 PLN). On the day of the event, students will have to pay 20 PLN, and people without student cards 25 PLN.
