Aquapark Wroclaw - holiday attractions on the third weekend of summer
July 16, 10 am - 10 pm, free of charge for guests of the leisure pools complex
On every holiday weekend, Aquapark welcomes you to participate in special events - every Saturday waiting for guests are outdoor events, performances, animations and sports tournaments. The following attractions for the youngest guests were prepared for this weekend:
- Rodeo bull ride: 10 am - 4 pm
- Dance workshops with SoKayka: 11 -11.30 am and 12 -12.30 pm
- Water volleyball tournament: 1 - 1.30 pm and 2 - 2.30 pm
Women in Technology Wroclaw Picnic Vol. 1

The first Women in Technology picnic in Wroclaw. No lectures this time, but loads of fun instead.
The picnic programme includes:
- chilling on blankets
- making soap bubbles
- snacking on delicious threats
- playing badminton

- and everything that you can come up, provided the organizers are able to make it happen
Coalition of Cities for Culture: New Threads For Łódź
July 14-17, Browar Mieszczański
For four days (July 14 to 17), residents of Wroclaw will have the opportunity to meet artists and culture animators from Łódź in Browar Mieszczanski. Over 25 theatre, film, art and music events were planned under the slogan "New Threads For Łódź." All events in the programme are intertwined, like threads of fabric, into the final concert, "L.Story" by the ensemble L.Stadt, who will sing songs written specifically for Wroclaw.
Take your toddler for a treasure hunt in the Island Opatowicka
July 16, Rope Park "Opatowicka," 1 pm, the Island Opatowicka
A unique event for parents with children will take place in the Wroclaw rope park Wyspa Przygody Opatowicka. Adults will have the opportunity to taste some adrenaline in the park's routes, and the children will go treasure hunting, take part in theatre and art workshops, and will take the safe route Małpka.
March for Jesus
July 16, 3 pm, meeting and starting point: the Spire by the Centennial Hall
The name March for Jesus was first used in 1989 - it was organized in 45 cities in the UK. Especially telling was the joint presence of Catholics and Protestants on the streets of Belfast. In 1992, marches for Jesus already took place in 25 European countries. The first time Poland joined in by organizing marches in Warsaw (6,000 people) and in Gdansk and Wroclaw. This year March for Jesus in Wroclaw will start off from the Spire at the Centennial Hall and go over the Zwierzyniecki Bridge, Reagan's Roundabout, Grunwaldzki Bridge, towards the Słodowa Island. There, the final concert of the festival Glory is planned.

Festival of Fountains - Aquafunfest

For six evenings in July (12-17 July), the Pergola by the Centennial Hall will host Poland's only Festival of Fountains - AQUAFUNFEST.
The highlight of the program will be SPECIAL PREMIÈRE SHOWS of Wroclaw Multimedia Fountain, presented using the latest technology and additional installations, including water screens with a total area of 1000 square meters, large format video projections, laser special effects, fire nozzles, hundreds of coloured points of light and spectacular architectural lighting. For the purpose of the festival, two new special shows were created, PULS - inspired by the music of Pink Floyd and WATER SHOT, in which the theme is film music.
The festival will also operate a food court, with food trucks offering all kinds of food and drinks every day. In areas outside the Centennial Hall complex, a special play area for children will be available during the day.
Please note: During the AQUAFUNFEST Festival, access to the Pergola will be possible from 18.00 pm.

Exhibition "Lilies of the European Capital of Culture"
16 and 17 July 2016, 10 am - 6 pm, in the City Arsenal, ul. Cieszyńskiego 9, free admission
Dozens of varieties of lilies will be presented at the exhibition, among them also those grown by the members of the Lower Silesia Lily Society. Available will be flower arrangements made by the Wroclaw florists and a competition for the most beautiful picture with a lily.
Organostrada - one-day organ marathon

A series of five concerts fits into musical events of the European Capital of Culture - Wrocław 2016 a special way. They are an inauguration of a cycle of organ and chamber music concerts, scheduled for next year under a joint title "Historical Organ Highway of Lower Silesia."

Slave To The Vibe started a cycle of afternoon events. They present a selection of house played in a rest-favouring surrounding. Przystanek Odra - Zoo is a beach, river and green, forming the perfect, respite-providing composition.
Picnic with Esperanto speakers at Słodowa Island
July 17, 5 pm, Slodowa Island, free admission
The participants of the International Youth Congress from more than 20 countries around the world (there will be approx. 200 of them on the island) will present selected elements of the language and culture of their country (dancing, singing, costumes, customs, etc.). There will also be language competitions. All the time there will also be the opportunity to learn Esperanto, one of the easiest languages in the world.

Intergenerational Dancing - Odra-Pany
July 16, from 7 pm, Odra-Pany, ul. Księcia Witolda 28, free admission
Intergenerational Dancing is a series of events, originating from the capital, the idea of which is to break the stereotypes associated with old age. The events will be hosted by senior DJs, young generation DJs, rappers. Seniors and young people will take it away on the dance floor. Intergenerational Dancing will last until 10 pm.
"Lineage" - concert of flamenco
July 17, 7 pm, the White Stork Synagogue
"Lineage" is a concert and dance performance of flamenco, dedicated to the family Moneo, their tradition of singing and their passion, which eventually became a form of expression and lifestyle. It is a short story that remembers palos de flamenco, characteristic of the legendary district of Jerez, La Plazuela (San Miguel), where the family Moneo comes from. Gema Moneo is a young dancer, enamoured with her homeland's singing and dancing. She will introduce the audience into their world of flamenco, with which she lives and which is present in her work, without losing her roots and authenticity.
Tickets at 120, 90 and 60 PLN, passes at 40 PLN.
