Ski conditations in Lower Silesia are better and better. It snows all the time.
It’s still snowing in Giant Mountains
There’s more than 60cm of snow in Szklarska Poręba. We can ski only on ski lift called „Puchatek”, but if atmospheric conditions will be fine, owners will open ski trails and „Karkonosz Express” from Friday.
In Karpacz, every ski trail works in „Winterpol White Jar”. There’s from 20 cm to 100 cm of snow. We can ski to 10 pm. Pod Wangiem’s four-seater couch and short ski lift called „Żółwik” are also open in Karpacz.
In Śnieżka complex on Kopa conditions are good, currently we can ski only on ski trails called „Liczykrupa” and „Euro”. Touristic train doesn’t work because of high wind. It’s still snowing in the mountains.
Snow cover on the ski trails has a height from 40 to 60 cm on Polana Jakuszycka. Snow trucks are currently on cross-country skiing’s trails. It’s still snowing and freeze is forecasting this weekend.
Every ski lift is open in Świeradów-Zdrój and there’s about 80 cm of snow. Gondola lift works in Ski Sun complex. We can ski from 9 am to 5 pm and from 6 pm to 10 pm. Freeze and snowfalling is forecasting this weekend so ski conditions should be better and better.
Weather in the Giant Mountains – mild wind on the top of the mountain, but main touristic trails are worn. The minimum temperature from -2°C to 0°C. The maximum temperature from 0°C to 2°C. Southwest, mild and weak wind. Snowfall on the utmost parts of the Sudeten (higher than 1000 m ASL). Temperature from -6°C to -4°C.
Snow cover has a height from 15 cm to 60 cm on the Czarna Góra’s trails. Almost every ski lift and ski trail is open including six-person ski lift called „Luxtorpeda” that can take us to the top of Czarna Góra and B trail. Conditions on Żmijowiec are also appropriate. Cross-country trails are available to do sports. We can schuss there from 9 am to 10 pm.
Near Wrocław, Ski lifts in Rzeczka in Góry Sowie are also available. Snow cover is still expanding. It has about 30 cm. Owners of ski lifts are going to rum them all on the Epiphany.
