As of 1 June, information on the public transport routes and timetables in Wroclaw is available in Google Maps. This will help you to plan your journey by car, on foot and by public transport too. The service has been put in place by the IT Services Centre.
Plan your journey
"We are happy that Wroclaw has joined the cities in Poland and elsewhere that use the services. Both the residents and the visitors can now easily plan their journey using public transport," says Piotr Zalewski from Google Polska.
Google Transit is available both to PC and mobile users. All you need to do is visit Google Maps and run the app in your smartphone (Android or iOS are required).
In Poland, apart from Wroclaw, the service is available in cities such as Warsaw, Zielona Góra and Szczecin. 18 thousand cities throughout the world offer the service. Over one billion people use Google Maps every month.
Visit the NFM on the web
The National Forum of Music has joined the Google Cultural Institute, the largest virtual museum worldwide. You can now visit the site on the web. To meet the needs of the World Wide Web communities, the NFM has also come up with a special virtual exhibition featuring videos, photographs and posters. Cultural services from Google cover over 1 thousand cultural institutions from 70 countries globally. Polish institutions include the Museum of the History of Poland and the National Museum in Warsaw. The NFM is the first institution in Wroclaw to join the project.
