Innopolis is a newly developed state-of-the-art five-building complex in the Wroclaw Park of Technology. Each building was named after a letter from the Greek alphabet, namely Alpha, Delta, Omega, Lambda and Sigma. They offer a total of 12 specialised laboratories fitted with specialist R&D equipment. Innopolis is designed for SMEs which run their own R&D initiatives and invest in innovation.
"The investment is one of the largest projects to be carried out by the Wroclaw Park of Technology using EU subsidies. The park is home to a number of companies specialising in biotechnology, medicine, cryogenics and mechanics as well as IT, chemical and electronic businesses," say the Wroclaw Park of Technology representatives.

Over 200 companies which give jobs to 1600 employees are based in the Wroclaw Park of Technology. One of such companies is General Robotics, which is also known as the inventor of the robot guide Eugenius, or Techtra, which produces GEM foils to be used in the Large Hadron Collider at the European Organization for Nuclear Research. While products manufactured in the Wroclaw Park of Technology are used globally, as much as 84% of innovative solutions designed in all technology parks in Poland are being implemented by the companies based in Wroclaw (according to the Supreme Chamber of Control report from 2013).
The formal Innopolis opening starts at 12 pm on Friday 18 September at the Delta Building, Wroclaw Park of Technology.
