This year's City Bike season started on the Monday night last week. Although the weather is far from perfect for cyclists, they will have every reason to be happy with a new decision by the Municipality. The Wroclaw City Bike is expanding with 2 new locations and 20 brand new bicycles to reach the north and east side of the city.
"Only yesterday our technical crew launched the "Strachocińska/Wieśniacza" station, and the station in ul Żmigrodzka will be open today at 2 pm. The two City Bike locations reach furthest to the East and North of the city, respectively. We are happy we can share such a good piece of news with the residents of Strachocin and Psie Pole," Tomasz Wojtkiewicz, President of Nextbike Polska, the Wroclaw City Bike System operator, said on Monday.
Once the on-going extension project has been completed, the Wroclaw City Bike system will be encompassing 760 bicycles and 76 bike-swapping stations. 72 stations belong to the municipality, whereas another 4 were created as part of the collaboration between Nextbike Polska and the sponsors who financed the following locations: Arkady Wrocławskie, Sky Tower, Promenady Business Park and Aleja Bielany.
