Wroclaw Airport offers a total of 11 connections to Great Britain, including that to Birmingham. The first plane to Birmingham takes off today at 7.30 pm, and is expected to land at 8.50 pm. The return plane departs at 9.20 pm to arrive in Wroclaw at 00.35 am. The planes depart and arrive at the same hours on Monday.
"Birmingham is the perfect choice to complement our flights to the UK. The service is bound to attract interests from passengers with professional links to West Midlands and their families. A lot of Polish people live there. However, Birmingham is also a very attractive tourist destination. The new connection is also an opportunity to learn more about the city," says Monika Półtorzycka-Jon, Marketing and PR Manager at Wroclaw Airport.
Birmingham Airport is located 13 km away from the city centre. The Birmingham metropolitan area, which is the second largest in England, encompasses a number of cities, including Coventry, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Walsall, Tamworth and Dudley. Birmingham is also conveniently connected to other large cities such as Nottingham, Derby, Leicester or Stoke.
Wizz Air operates two UK destinations from Wroclaw: to London-Luton and Doncaster-Sheffield, and offers four other connections to Dortmund, Eindhoven, Oslo-Torp and Stockholm-Skavsta.
