In its attempts to meet the needs of contemporary audiences, the Legalna Kultura (Legal Culture) Foundation organises the second edition of the Kutura Na Widoku (Culture in Plain Sight) project, which is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Poland to celebrate the "25 Years of Self-Government". The aim of the project is to promote active participation in culture by using legal resources on the web.
The first edition of the Culture in Plain Sight project was organised in 2014. The multimedia library arrived in ul Świdnicka in Wroclaw. This year's multimedia library is going to visit 48 places and 14 festivals in cities such as Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw. The Legal Culture project has been endorsed by a number of artists and creative individuals, including the current or former residents of Wroclaw such as Robert Gonera, Magdalena Kumorek, Ewa Skibińska or L.U.C.
The five Culture-in-Plain-Sight bookcases offer over 900 items divided into several categories such as film, music, books, games and history. The users will also be able to use legal sources to download latest Polish film productions, LPs with Polish and foreign music, pop, classical music, literary best-sellers, audio books and the collection celebrating the 25th anniversary of Polish local governments.
Those of you who visit the Sky Tower between 1 and 22 July will be provided suitable links or QR codes to download your item of choice at a discount or completely free of charge. The materials will be available for download both at multimedia bookcases and posters.
