Wolny czas/czas wolny (Free time/time-free) is the title of an exhibition of paintings by Joanna Burda and can be understood literally: as the time allowed after finishing one's daily chores and dedicated to all sorts of recreational activities (paintings "Szachy" ['Chess'], "Figury" ['Figures'], "Przejażdżka" ['Ride']), leisure ("Z lasu" ['From the Forest'], "Spotkanie" ['Meeting']), or pursuing passion and sports ("Kitesurfing", "Paralotnia" ['Paraglide'], "Lodowisko" ['Ice Rink'], "Skaters On the River']). Exhibition of works by Dy Tagowska 'Der letzte Meridian' The exhibition is Dy Tagowska's attempt to constitute herself in an existing time and place. Although it relates to the history of the city, the German title of the exhibition expresses a certain exoticism of the areas affecting the artist and the viewer. The presentation includes a recording of a series of performances, objects and site-specific solutions which make up one of the narratives defining Tagowska that could be called historical and dreamlike. Dy Tagowska (b.1985) - Artist operating in many media. She is particularly interested with the aspects of cultural mythologisation. She examines the function and meaning of pathos in art, religion and sport. Tagowska is one of the heads of the Multimedia Unit of the extramural studies at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture in Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts. He is a Wroclaw painter, graphic artist, photographer, illustrator, (artist craftsman, author of 'dadaistic knick-knacks'), idealist-dadaist, performer with a touch of absurd humour. 8 pm Concert 'Cosmic Boy' is a musical experiment of Dariusz Orwat. He composes hits in his own style, 'Dada and Roll,' i.e. metaphysical grotesque. With a specific sense of humour and absurd, he uses non-professional keyboards and a variety of sound toys as professional instruments.
