The opportunity to admire Wroclaw from the observation deck of the north tower of Wroclaw Cathedral in the evening, provided the weather is favourable (not available in case of rain or strong wind). Entrance through the staircase to level 3, and then by elevator to the observation deck. The public space of the cathedral will also be available for sightseeing at that time.

La Yedra, an original concert project in the form of a dance performance by Wroclaw dancer Katarzyna Małecka, was created specially for the flamenco workshops held in Wroclaw at the time, featuring a famous dancer - Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya.. The concert is to demonstrate the high level of flamenco and its artists in Poland. 10 people will meet on stage, including guitarists, dancers and a singer from Andalusia.

May Picnic Days of the Duchy of Brzeg

This year's Days of the Duchy of Brzeg will feature:
- May 1: the election of the duke of the Principality of Brzeg will start at 12.00 in the courtyard of the Piast Gymnasium. The princely picnic will run throughout the day, and will feature a performance of an Abba and Boney M. cover band. Admission is free. At 16.00 and 19.00, the Duke George II Piast Symphony Orchestra will play on the BCK's Large Stage. Tickets (10 PLN) available at the PIT Brzeg. In the evening, club concerts will be held: 20.00 - Lipa Blues Band (Stara Karczma); 21.00 - Niver (NOK Herbaciarnia) and Duet Apasjonata and Blues Galeria (Trzy Życzenia Restaurant).
- May 2: from 9.00 to 16.00 a Brzeg Outdoor Game. Participation is free, please register in 4-person teams, details here . In the evening, a performance by the biggest stars of the Brzeg Days in the amphitheatre: 20.30 - Mrozu and 22.00 - Edyta Górniak - admission 5 PLN (tickets at PIT Brzeg, in the amphitheatre on the day of the concert, free for children under 6).
- May 3 - at the end of Brzeg Days, a concert "Blues Vocal Night" at the Dolnobrzeskie Culture Centre at 18.00 (Patrycja Kamola Project and Jacek "J.J." Jaguś), free admission.

For the 27. time the Festival of Flowers and the Arts will be held on the May weekend, from Thursday to Sunday, April 30-May 3, in the Książ Castle. This year's event theme is "Fantasy", by which, according to the organizers, visitors will transfer straight to Wonderland. The festival will feature, among others, the National Bonsai Exhibition, the largest in Poland, including a workshop in forming bonsai trees. Entire programme is available here.

Feel free to take part in this year's Picnic at the Museum. This time, the May mini-break will be devoted to diesel locomotives, with Diesel Fest held during the picnic. Museum of Industry and Railway in Silesia exhibits mainly steam locomotives, and on May 1 and 3 presented will be diesel locomotives. All the days of the Diesel Fest will feature presentations of locomotives, as well as train rides operated by the selected diesel locomotives at the steam train route. Marathon and concerts in Jelcz-Laskowice

On May 2, from 16.00 , the stage at ul. Basenowa will host an artistic programme for children, and then a performance of the picnic's greatest stars: Bethel, Kamil Bednarek and Enej. The picnic will end at approx.22.30 with a firework show. Participation in concerts is free.

900 years of Żórawina in the Carriages Museum in Galowice

On May 2 at the Carriages Museum in Galowice starts a series of events aimed at integrating the residents of Żórawina municipality, entitled: "900 years of Żórawina". A historical exhibition opens at 12.30. The exhibition shows the history of Żórawina and other towns situated in what is now the municipality. Presented will be: postcards, souvenirs brought by residents, engravings and photographs. The most valuable exhibit is the seventeenth-century document confirming the assignment of city rights to Żórawina by the Emperor Rudolf II Habsburg, with his autograph.

Sport picnic in Kobierzyce - Run with the Constitution

The first edition of Run with the Constitution will start on Sunday, May 3, in Kobierzyce. The competition will feature runs at two distances - 5 and 10 kilometres. The runs start at the sports hall in ul. Dębowa 20. Waiting at the finish line will be prizes and a regenerative meal. You can sign up for the run here. An additional attraction will be the Little Patriot's run for the youngest athletes (3-7 years old) at a distance of 100 metres.
