"The rituals will be run be our great Aquapark Wroclaw sweat-bathing masters and our eminent guests from other sauna centres. This is a great opportunity to start a sweat-bathing season. KORSU is a massive attraction for sweat-bathing fans. The sauna is innovative for its unique construction, the main chamber being located below ground level. The hexagonal sauna has an ambiance of its own and a quaint fireplace in the centre. The sauna is built with kelo wood, which the best material to create this kind of facilities available. The wood is obtained from lofty Finnish pines which undergo a natural drying process in the harsh Scandinavian weather conditions. As a result, an environmentally friendly material is obtained which is also unique for its properties – a beautiful silvery colour and unusual structure – which create ideal conditions for air circulation in the sauna (temperature around 85-95°C, humidity between 10 and 20%).
The sauna's name was selected by Wroclaw Aquapark Facebook page subscribers. The word means a root cellar in Finnish.
With this new investment, the Wroclaw Aquapark sauna garden is now the largest of its kind in Poland. It takes up the space of 2,500 sqm and offers three detached Finnish saunas, a cooling pool, showers and harmonious greenery compositions. The complex will be extended with a hot-water pool in the coming seasons. The garden is a great place to relax right in Wroclaw's city centre. A great sunbathing spot in the summer, it turns into a fantastic sauna complex in the winter season.
