European Mobility Week encourages you to make conscious choices as passengers, and to combine and change means of transport to make your journey as convenient as possible. The event also serves as an opportunity and a platform for the initiatives from local authorities, associations and NGOs to promote sustainable urban mobility. The upcoming week brings a variety of events and comes to an end with No Car Day on 22 September. Public transport will be available free of charge on the day. European Mobility Week 2016 starts with Ul Św. Antoniego Festival, a symbolic event and a myriad of attractions. The event showcases the new traffic organisation in the area. With car traffic restrictions, new spaces are now available for cyclists and pedestrians. The street is now more lively and attracts more people. On 15 September, the street will be brimming with topical platforms, bike workshops, a DJ zone and yoga classes.

MPK Wroclaw Open Doors - 17 September
Wroclaw MPK Open Doors is a real treat for public transport fans and children. A myriad of attractions is waiting for you at the depot in ul Powstańców Śląskich. The programme of the event provides for extremely popular tram driving lessons, a trip by a vintage tram, shows from paramedics and the display of MPK equipment. You will be able to see and touch everything. Additionally, the Urban Transport Enthusiasts' Club is inviting you to join a trip in a vintage Konstal 4N1 tram from 1960 (also known as Enusia).

ECC Picnic in ul Kazimierza Wielkiego
On Sunday 18 September, a massive happening called Sztuka #tuiteraz will be held in a section of ul Kazimierza Wielkiego near Barbara. The area near Barbara (ECC Wroclaw Information Hub) will be covered with a lawn 500 sqm in size. The green area will be full of deckchairs, armchairs, beanbags and food trucks. There will also be places to play badminton and turnball.
The street will be closed for traffic on Sunday 18 September between 10 am and 7 pm. The area will become a venue for an all-day-long happening for the residents of Wroclaw.
A vintage Konstal 4N1 tram from 1960 (also known as Enusia) will be there for you to hop on every 20 minutes or so to travel around the city centre and the happening area.

No Car Day
On the strength of the City Council's decision, the residents of Wroclaw can use public transport free of charge on 22 September. Wroclaw City Bikes will also be available free of charge for an hour on the day.
