Malkovich will play in Lech Majewski’s latest film ‘Valley of Gods’, which will be shot, among others, in the Wroclaw Audiovisual Technology Centre and in the Książ Castle.
The director wants to create a fairy tale for adults telling the story of the richest man on Earth. The inspiration for this film is an Indian legend about Ullikummi – a giant hero born a rock cliff.
The actors starring in Majewski’s film will include Charlotte Rampling, Josh Hartnett, John Rhys-Davies, Keir Dullea and Bérénice Marlohe.
The ‘Valley of Gods’ is produced by Angelus Silesius – Association of Creators and Patrons of Culture and Science and co-produced by Odra-Film, the Silesian Film Fund, Lumicon Malewski Marcin, Lightcraft Advertising and Royal Road Entertainment LCC (USA).
The budget of the film amounts to 16.5 million PLN. The 'Valley of Gods' will be shown in cinemas from the end of 2016.
