Flights to Venice and Tenerife in 2016

Ryanair airlines have announced today that the new flight schedule for the summer of 2016 will include two new destinations from Wroclaw. We will fly to Tenerife once a week and to Venice three times a week. Today a big sellout of Ryanair’s tickets has started, too. The cheapest tickets cost 19 PLN.

Ryanair lines offer already almost 20 routes from the Wroclaw Airport to various parts of Europe. The number of destinations will increase in the flight schedule for the summer of 2016. ‘We are glad to announce that we will launch two new routes from Wroclaw for the summer of 2016. Flights to Tenerife – one of the Canary Islands – will be possible once a week, and flights from the Venice of the North, as Wroclaw is often called, to the Italian Venice will be offered three times a week,’ says Juliusz Komorek from Ryanair.

The new flight schedule for the summer of 2016 will also include additional flights to London – now we can fly there twice a day. In this way, Ryanair wants to serve over one milion passengers from Wroclaw. Ryanair’s representatives said that the expansion of this year’s flight network was limited by deliveries of new planes that they had ordered. ‘We’d like to offer more flights from Wroclaw, but our plans for this year are limited by deliveries of new planes – there are too few of them to fulfil our current needs,’ explained Juliusz Komorek. ‘However, this will change in the winter of the next year, because we’ll put even up to 50 new planes to use. In such case, Wroclaw could become a base for our third plane,’ adds Ryanair’s representative. Within the next few years, low-cost airlines would like to double the number of passengers transported from Wroclaw and to use the capital of Lower Silesia as a base for even 5 planes.’ Ryanair’s representative also dreams of creating an “air corridor” between Wroclaw and the Greek islands. ‘This means flights to 5 different Greek destinations at least once a day,’ he explained. It is still uncertain whether the summer route from Wroclaw to Gdańsk is included in the flight schedule of 2016 – we will know the answer at the beginning of the next year. Already in 2015, Ryanair will certainly surprise us with new dresses of its crew and many new items on the website. Apart from that, the interiors of Ryanair’s planes should be renovated by December. On the occasion of its visit to Wroclaw, Ryanair has also announced a sellout of 100,000 tickets for European routes, with the cheapest price amounting to 19 PLN. Tickets must be booked not later than by Monday the 28th of September, 0:00 a.m.
