What new destinations for summer 2016, with a departure from Wroclaw, are offered by travel agencies? It is two Greek islands - Thassos and Lefkada, as well as two Spanish destinations - Alicante and Barcelona (El Prat). 
'Greece and Spain have been very popular among travellers for several seasons now, so we are pleased that the network of charter flights of the Wroclaw airport will now include these four novelties. They are attractive both for enthusiasts of sunbathing, as well as those who prefer active leisure,' says Michael Kozak, Charter Traffic Development Manager with Wroclaw Airport.
The summer 2016 offer of travel agents from Wroclaw now includes a total of 9 Greek destinations, 6 Spanish, 2 very popular Portuguese, Madeira and Faro, as well as, e.g. Sicily, Cyprus and Bulgarian resorts in Golden Sands and Sunny Beach that enjoy constant popularity. Travel agencies also extended the offer of 11-day trips available from Wroclaw. In this option, passengers can choose Crete (Chania), Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Bodrum, Antalya and Bulgarian resorts of Sunny Beach.

Greek novelties
The island of Thassos (known as the Emerald Isle and the Aegean Green Diamond) is known for its sandy beaches, picturesque bays, well-preserved historical sites and charming nature. The second new destination - the island of Lefkada - in addition to beautiful beaches (the local Porto Katsiki beach is considered one of the most beautiful in the world) offers excellent opportunities for sports, including windsurfing and kite surfing as well as cycling and trekking.

The offer of travel agencies includes seven other Greek destinations from Wroclaw: Crete (Heraklion and Chania), Rhodes, Kos, Zante, Corfu and Chalkidiki/Olympic Riviera.
Spanish attractions
Alicante is the centre of the Costa Blanca (the White Coast), which is one of the sunniest places in Spain, with beautiful, long, sandy beaches and lots of other attractions.
'Here, attractive are the local cuisine, many fiestas and abundant nightlife. Alicante is also the home for the largest water park in Europe, Aqualandia,' adds Monika Półtorzycka-Jon.
Travellers will also have the opportunity to relax on the Costa Calida (Warm Coast), in the southern part of the Costa Blanca. This is the warmest region in Spain (as early as in May the average temperature reaches 23°C, and in August - 30°C). There is a twenty-two kilometre long, beautiful sand spit that separates the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean from the Mar Menor (Minor Sea).
'Warm and calm waters of the lagoon are perfect for families with children and for enthusiasts of water sports, especially kitesurfing and windsurfing,' says Monika Półtorzycka-Jon.
In contrast, Barcelona (El Prat) is an option for those who prefer a more moderate, but still warm climate of the Costa Brava. The attraction in itself is of course visiting the Catalan capital.
