Anniversary of formation of Solidarity [PROGRAM]

The first accent of the celebration will be the hoisting of a 'Solidarity’ flag on Iglica. This will be the second time when a ‘Solidarity’ flag has hung in this place; previously, it was hoisted by Marian Krzemiński during the Martial Law period. This time, young mountaineers will hang the flag on Wednesday the 26th of August at 12:00 p.m.This year’s celebration of the 35th anniversary of formation of the Solidarity Trade Union is held under the patronage of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Wroclaw, the Mayor of Wroclaw, the Head of the Lower Silesia Province and the Marshal of the Lower Silesia Province.
